Path Analysis on Factors Affecting Job Performance of Midwives at Community Health Centers in Mojokerto, East Java

Background: Midwives play an important role in reducing maternal and neonatal mor­bidity mortality. The performance of mid­wives is indicator to improve the quality child health services. purpose this study was analyze factors that affect midwives. Subjects Method: This cross-sectional conducted at a community cen­ter Mojokerto, East Java, from February April 2020. A sample 200 midwives selec­ted by random sampling. dependent va­riable midwife. independent variables were age, income, workload, work motivation, perceived financial compensation, education, employment status, social support, marital status. perfor­man­ce measured 6-DSNP. Other data collected using ques­tion­naire. Data analyzed path analysis Stata 13 application. Results: increa­s­ed with age ≥ 42 years (b= 3.19; 95% CI= 1.62 4.75; p <0.001), family income 7 million 3.03; 1.50 4.56; <0.001 ), light workload 2.66; 1.19 4.13; strong motivation (b = 3.32; 1.60 5.04; sufficient per­ceived compensation 3.96; 1.68 4.99; <0.001). mid­wi­ves indirectly affected edu­ca­tion, em­ploy­­ment support sta­tus.
